Our Workshops & Events bring together talented local tutors, mindful outdoor activities, and the gentle presence of our alpacas to offer something truly special.
Each event is designed to celebrate creativity, wellbeing, and the simple joy of being in the countryside. These workshops allow us to support local makers, share new skills with our community, and offer guests deeper, more meaningful ways to experience our alpacas.

Alpaca Willow Crafting (3 hrs)
🌿 Crafted by hand. Inspired by alpacas. Rooted in nature.
During this hands‑on workshop, you’ll learn how to weave your own willow bird feeder using traditional techniques, guided step‑by‑step by our tutor. Once shaped, you’ll fill it with soft alpaca fleece from our very own herd — a natural, eco‑friendly nesting material loved by garden birds.
You’ll also have the chance to create additional willow items and to meet and feed the alpacas who provided the fleece, adding a gentle, memorable touch to your crafting experience. At the end, you’ll take home your beautifully handmade feeder, ready to hang in your garden and enjoy for seasons to come.
Special introductory price: £45.00 per person
Please note: all under‑18s must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Sessions run at 10:00 am, 2:00 pm, and 7:30 pm on selected dates. Availability is limited, so early booking is recommended.

Alpaca Yoga (2 hrs)
Where nature becomes your studio and calm finds you 🦙🧘♀️
Alpaca Yoga is a gentle, grounding outdoor practice held in the quiet beauty of our Somerset fields. Surrounded by open skies, soft birdsong, and the calming presence of our alpacas, this is yoga at its most natural and peaceful.
Our alpacas graze nearby as you move through a slow, mindful flow designed for all levels. Their quiet curiosity and gentle energy create a uniquely soothing atmosphere — one that helps you breathe deeper, move softer, and feel more connected to the land around you.
Included in your 60‑minute yoga session, which may run a little longer if the alpacas join in, is time to meet and feed them, take in the quiet of the countryside, and let the calm of nature gently settle in.

Please note: all under‑18s must be accompanied by a paying adult. Please bring your own mats.
Alpaca Yoga runs twice a month. Alternative dates and times can be arranged upon special request.
You’ll receive a full refund if the session is cancelled because of unsuitable weather or insufficient bookings.

Al-Pac-A Picnic (1.5 hrs)

Pack your basket and settle in at your own beautifully prepared rustic picnic table for a 1½‑hour countryside escape. Take your time as you savour your food, unwind, and soak in the stillness of the landscape — this is your moment to slow down and breathe.
Once you’ve finished your picnic, our alpacas begin to wander over, grazing nearby and bringing their gentle, curious presence to your table. Alpaca feed is provided, allowing you to offer them a little treat and enjoy an intimate, close‑up connection that feels truly magical.
It’s a luxurious blend of tranquillity, nature, and the soft charm of alpacas — a premium experience designed to be savoured from start to finish - all with a touch of alpaca magic.

Picnic Add‑On
Extend your visit with an extra hour of peaceful downtime in the alpaca field. After your main experience, you’ll be welcomed to a rustic picnic table where you can relax, enjoy your food, and soak in the countryside atmosphere. The alpacas will wander nearby, offering gentle company and plenty of photo opportunities.
£6 per person or £20 per group (up to 4)
Adds 1 hour to any experience. Bring your own picnic.
Sunset Romance (1 hr)
The dreamiest date night you’ll ever have.
As the sun dips low and the fields glow golden, share a magical evening with someone special (and a few curious alpacas).
Bring & sip something bubbly, watch the sky change colours, and soak up the serenity of the landscape. The alpacas may even put on a "pronking" dance just for you!
It’s romance, reimagined — calm, cosy, and completely unforgettable. Maybe you just want somewhere memorable to pop that magically question!
A Sunset Romance session is a private couple's session for over 18's only. They run daily based on sunset times for the date and time of year.

Cria Watch (1 hr)

Experience the magic of new life at Reservoir Alpacas!
Not only do we offer calming, hands‑on alpaca experiences, but we are also proud breeders. Once a year, during cria season, our paddocks come alive with tiny wobbly legs, fluffy faces, and the sweetest first steps into the world.
Our Cria Watch sessions give you a front‑row seat to meet our newest arrivals — the baby alpacas. Watch them wobble, play, and explore the world for the very first time. It’s a heart‑melting experience you’ll never forget.
You’ll learn how we care for our mums and babies, what happens during the early days of cria development, and why this short season is such a special time on the farm. This gentle, observational experience is perfect for families, animal lovers, and anyone who wants to witness the pure joy of new life.
