  3. Reservoir Alpacas may change this policy by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes.
     

What we collect

  • Demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests

  1. We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, to gather all relevant information we need in order to provide you with services and in particular for the following reasons:

  • Internal record keeping. We may use the information to improve our products and services.

  • We may contact you to ensure we have all relevant details for your booking or to notify you if there are last minute cancellations due to unforeseen events/weather (unfortunately this does sometimes occur).

Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.

  • Whenever you are asked to fill in a form, look for the box that you can click to indicate that you do not want the information to be used by anybody for direct marketing purposes.   •  We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen (by opting in as described above).

General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)

    • Reservoir Alpacas will not do anything with your data that we personally would not want to do to our own.

    • Reservoir Alpacas will only ask for and collect data that we NEED to run our business.  Anything else we are not bothered about.
       

  3.  Data minimisation – Personal data must be adequate, relevant and limited to what is.

    • Reservoir Alpacas don’t ask you for information that they don’t need to help them do their job.
       

  4.  Accuracy – Personal data must be accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date. Inaccurate personal data should be corrected or deleted.

    • Reservoir Alpacas try to be accurate, but if you move house, change emails etc. then let us know.  If you want to know what we hold just ask.  If you want us to remove it all (including photographs/media) or update/amend it – just ask.
